FWB/112 Food Waste Bin - Hygienic Collection of Food Waste
The FWB/112 Food Waste Bin is designed for the hygienic collection of food waste. Food waste includes discarded food material, such as food peelings, that is now required to be recycled separately. In the UK, an estimated 7.3 million tonnes of food waste end up in landfill each year, with food waste increasing by 4.4% since 2012. The average family wastes £470 a year on discarded food and drink, with the food sector wasting an additional £3 billion.

Manufactured from durable galvanised steel, the Food Waste Bin features a rod-hinged front opening door with a slam lock. The slanted lid allows rainwater to run off, preventing any rubbish from accumulating on top of the unit. A lift-up flap on the lid helps contain odours, and a stainless steel handle ensures easy and hygienic opening.
