The LBV/24 Closed Top Litter Bin is a double capacity litter bin, ideal for collecting a large amount of on-street waste. What is this bin manufactured from? This bin is manufactured from glass fibre composite (GFC), which is ideally suited for street furniture due to its strength and durability. It's completely unaffected by extreme weather conditions and salt water, which allows the bin to be placed in a coastal or roadside location and remain intact for years. What are the advantages of GFC? Our glass fibre litter bins have high impact strength, some of our units have been in situ for the best part of two decades. GFC products offer substantial fire protection, conforming to BS 476 Part 7 and Part 6, fire rated at Class 1/0 Building Regulations. GFC has a low carbon footprint due to the longevity of the product. Our team performed a hammer test to demonstrate the strength and durability of our glass fibre litter bins.
